Relentlessly committed to community involvement, Lauren Ravitz devotes her time and resources to several worthy causes:

The Charitable Foundation

Lauren is a proud board member of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties Charitable Foundation. The goal of this agent-funded program is to support local organizations that promote health, education, community, and the environment.

The chapters in San Diego, Orange Country, Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara are fully funded by real estate agent donations to support the communities where they do business. More than 1,000 grants have been provided in excess of $5 million raised since the Foundation’s inception.

Your Golden Ticket

Your Golden Ticket was founded by Jack (11), Ryan (11), and Marley (8) Woods with the vision to provide those less fortunate with opportunities to have interesting, fun, and unique experiences by providing tickets to attend live events (e.g. sporting, concerts, theater) or gain access to experiences (e.g., amusement parks, museums, airline travel) that will create lasting memories.

Lauren is on the Board of Directors and excited to be a part of this growing movement of youth-to-youth inspiration.

Cycle For Survival

Cycle for Survival is the national movement to beat rare cancers. Since 2007, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $75 million through its signature indoor team cycling events across the U.S. to help fund pioneering rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), which owns and operates Cycle for Survival. 100 percent of every donation funds rare cancer research; every dollar is allocated within six months of the events.

Together with the movement’s founding partner, Equinox, Cycle for Survival has supported innovative clinical trials, research studies, and major research initiatives. Lauren is a veteran team captain, raising funds and riding each year with 12 of her like-minded colleagues and friends.

Home For A Home

Home For A Home is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization driven by the belief that a safe, solid home can be the catalyst to dramatic and positive change in people's lives. Their mission is to provide homes for people in need. In Guatemala, over one million people live below the poverty line. They don’t have access to clean water, basic sanitation, or adequate housing.

Many live in shacks made of corn stalks and scrap metal with dirt floors. Nights are cold and disease runs rampant. A safe and secure home is the first step towards less sickness, more security, and new opportunities to build a better life for themselves. And that solid foundation can change everything. Lauren donates a percentage of every commission to Home For A Home.
